Celebrity Amputee Golf Classic
This two-day event starts on April 19th at the Omni Orlando Resort at
ChampionsGate at 7pm for a Pairings Party and charity auction. On Friday,
April 20th, we get started with a continental breakfast at 8:00am before
hitting the links at the ChampionsGate National Course
in Orlando, FL. We finish off the day with lunch and award presentations.
FEATURING
WHY:
This years event will benefit the Haitian American Athletic Foundation by providing
funding for their athletic program that will aid underprivileged youth who have
become homeless or severely impoverished due to the countries economic state. The
event will also support Project Medishares: Haitian Amputee Rehabilitation Program,
which continues to treat hundreds of patients who lost limbs due to the devastating
earthquake in January of 2010.

The past Celebrity/Amputee Golf Classics attracted a field of financially and socially
elite golfers. The majority of golfers were males, over 40 with a median household
income of $500,000+.
- A total of 128 individuals played golf
- 200 people attended the Pairings Party
- Participants represented the medical, business, financial and legal industries nationally
- Celebrity Golfers included sports legends, national television personalities, local
media personalities
